I have recently began working with the Bruno Event Team on different products and they asked me to be their official videographer for the Honda Indy Grand Prix at Barber Motorsports this year. It was a wonderful experience and I had a great time shooting race and all the activities. This is a short highlight reel of the race day.
Every year Innisfree Irish Pub celebrates St. Patrick’s Day like no one else with a two day Weekend Madness party. It all starts at 6am with kegs and eggs. The rest of the weekend include a free lunch buffett and bloody mary bar, live music and dj’s, corn hole, bag pipes, giveaways and plenty of green beer! They wanted me to document a couple of hours of the madness. Everything you see here was filmed between 4pm and 6pm on Saturday. I can only imagine what the other 46 hours were like!
When Andy of KG Designs asked me to come to NYC to video his wedding I was honored. This video was a lot of fun to put together and as you can see everyone had a great time.

I have known Gracie all of my life. We grew up in the same neighborhood and our families have been friends since I was a child so when she asked me to shoot her wedding I was honored and excited. Austin is the founder of the Birmingham branch of Go Kickball. We met during the first season when there were only a few teams. Last year the league was up to around 70 teams! Go Kickball is also where Austin met Lee! After seeing her on the field a couple times Austin decided to make his move and after dating for a while he decided to take her off the market! They had a beautiful wedding at The American Village in Montevallo, AL.
Maria and Brad were married at Prince of Peace in Hoover, AL. They were a lot of fun to work with and kept me laughing most of the day! GoKickball is a kickball league that started a few years ago and has turned into one of the biggest social scenes in Birmingham. Games are on Thursday nights at George Ward park in Birmingham, AL. After the games everyone enjoys free cover, food, and drink specials at the league bars; Innisfree Irish Pub and Moe’s Original BBQ. Jillian and Jason were married at Renaissance Resort at Ross Bridge. My good friend and collegue, Jan O’Donnell, of Cakes by Jan introduced my to Jillian and Jason a few months before their big day. Jan also made the cakes (which were amazing) and was their event coordinator. Talk about multi-tasking! I met Jessica Bryant and Ryan Sciacca while shooting her friend’s wedding (Leighton + Ryan) in Jacksonville, FL. Jessica was one of Leighton’s bridesmaids and when Ryan popped the question she asked me to shoot her wedding as well. They were married at the Bryant family farm in Selma, AL, so it was fitting that Jessica would ride in on a John Deer tractor to be escorted down the aisle. I was so glad to be apart of their big day.

Mary Canaan and Bryan were married on Mary Canaan’s family’s land in Tuscaloosa, AL one weekend after the devastating tornado ripped its way through Tuscaloosa. Their day was even more meaningful because of the new beginnings that were taking place in a town having to rebuild homes and lives. This wedding was special, with a picture-perfect bridal entrance, when Mary Caanan rode to the ceremony in a horse and carriage where her father met her and escorted her down the aisle.
Amanda has been a good friend of mine ever since we met in a small group through Church of the Highlands! It was an honor to be asked to be a part of her wedding day! The wedding was at The American Village in Montevallo, AL. The entire day was beautiful from start to finish as you can see in her teaser. It didn’t hurt that I was able to work side by side with Anita Kanellis of AK Brides and Greg Hawkins of Studio G Photography either. It always helps I get to team up with such amazing professionals.
Jackie and Jason were married on December 31st. Appropriately enough they turned their wedding reception into a New Year’s Eve party! Everyone had a blast dancing in the new year with a champagne toast at the stroke of midnight!
Jordan and Stuart were married in Guntersville, AL. This wedding was beautiful from start to finish, with a rustic, country themed reception. One of my favorite things there was the tree-stump groom’s cake that looked so real that it was almost a shame to cut it! They left the reception with huge sparklers in the back of an old pickup truck. Perfect ending.
I met Kristen and Kiah while shooting her friend’s wedding (Elena + Jarod) in Hoover, AL. Kristen was one of Elena’s bridesmaids and she and Kiah asked if I would shoot their wedding in Tuscaloosa, AL the following year. As you can see in the video the wedding was absolutely beautiful, with an amazing reception at the North River Yacht Club.
I met Jarod and Elena while shooting Jarod’s sister’s wedding (Jessica + Ryan) in Selma, AL. My most memorable moment from their wedding was the sword arch exit after the ceremony. Jarod graduated from the Naval Acadamy and the sword arch is a Marine Corps wedding tradition.
I’ve known Rachel since the day she was born…because she is my little cousin, the oldest of four and I have lots of great memories of spending holidays together over the years. She met Michael while in college at Ole Miss and they were married here in Birmingham.
Tanner hired me to shoot her wedding because I am her cousin and if she didn’t then it would be very awkward at family get togethers when I refused to talk to her. Completely kidding…I think! Tanner and Mason had been together for such a long time that we already considered him family, so we had a big party to make it official.
Leighton and Ryan were married at Leighton’s Uncle’s house in Jacksonville, FL on the St. John’s River. The river was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony and wedding. The entire weekend was amazing and I was honored to be a part of it. My favorite moment of the wedding was at the end when Leighton and Ryan made their exit. They walked down the dock and left in her uncle’s boat as fireworks lit up the night overhead.
Scott is in the military and met Tatiana while overseas in Russia. They fell in love and he brought her back to the United States to make her his bride! It was an honor to be part of their big day.
I loved watching Sara and Sam together. Both of them were glowing all day and could not stop smiling. It was contagious! I heard from Sara a few weeks ago and she told me that they just had a baby girl and they named her Samantha. Congrats guys!
